Skadi: Threat Hunter
Inks for the comic book, Skadi: Threat Hunter. I also handled a fair share of the pencilwork, adapting the lay-ins into my style, fleshing out details, and adjusting perspective as needed.
Adventure Time
I made a storyboard based on an excerpt from an Adventure Time episode. I have not seen much of Adventure Time, so I wanted to challenge myself by diving in blind. Aside from character turn-arounds and a few stills, I developed this board solely based on what I read in the script.
Rick and Morty
Similar to the above project, this storyboard was based off an excerpt from a Rick and Morty script. As with Adventure Time, I have not seen much of Rick and Morty, so the challenge was similar.
This script was less descriptive than the Adventure Time one, so it was far more difficult to figure out how things would look. Eventually, I had to watch a short section of the episode to fully understand what I was reading. However, I kept the reference to a minimum.
Chit Chat Soaps Ad Spot
I was contracted to make a 30-second ad spot for a start-up soap business. This ad revolved around soap bars that looked like donuts.
The Elephant in the Room
I made this short comic as a semester-long project in my senior year at College for Creative Studies.
Unlike Skadi: Threat Hunter, which had a team of artists, this comic was made entirely by me.
